the portlandia statue

last saturday (the 18th) it was g and i's 1 year in portland (i'm over calling him the mr. btw). it snuck up on us but we didn't let it go by without celebration, we headed to whole paycheck and picked up a huge bone-in rib-eye steak. we cooked it up on the rooftop grill (g cooked it to perfection) and we served it with grilled zucchini and roasted sweet potatoes and a lovely yoakim bridge cuvee. heaven.
